Targeted and elections-related disinformation poses an increasing risk to global brands, but also operations and personnel worldwide. Pushed by state actors, associated gray zone groups, and activists – and propelled by AI – growing pollution of the information ecosystem will make it harder for organizations to base decisions on credible information while making it easier for adversaries to make damaging allegations that sometimes raise risk to employees, facilities and cyberinfrastructure. Strong, coordinated, informed corporate leadership will be required to mitigate these rapidly evolving risks.
What You’ll Take Away
ERI’s interactive virtual workshop provides an overview of the current threats, including case studies, and our assessment of how these are likely to evolve in the near to medium-term. This gives participants a baseline from which to apply our tools in order to:
- Identify where their organizations are exposed to the greatest vulnerabilities.
- Determine monitoring and production needs to inform decision-makers.
- Plan for how to integrate new information across functions to mitigate risk and limit damages from disinformation targeting the organization or degrading the security environment.
