Monthly Training Webinar

Tue, Apr 23 - Thu, May 23

/ Cost: $1150 for non-subscribers, free for subscribers

Organizations increasingly rely on private sector intelligence analysis to help them mitigate risk and adapt to this era of poly-crises. ERI’s training specifically addresses intelligence analysis, tradecraft and writing for business – to get your intelligence function producing efficiently and effectively. Our Corporate Intelligence Analysis, Tradecraft and Writing course is recognized by ASIS International as aligning with the CPP and APP bodies of knowledge and qualifies participants for up to 10 CPEs.

As intelligence professionals who have worked in government intelligence and across industries, we understand that success in private sector intelligence is built on approaching the discipline from a business perspective, which requires a deeper appreciation of the priorities and challenges of this unique environment.   That is why we created this dynamic training and interactive writing workshop that addresses:

  • Intelligence techniques for the corporate environment
  • How to align intelligence requirements to the value chain
  • Analysis as a tool to enable business
  • Business beyond the physical security domain
  • Tradecraft for evaluating open-source information and mitigating bias
  • How to build a source network
  • Writing for business
  • The value of data
  • How to create and integrate visual intelligence tools
  • Demonstrating the value of your intelligence function

ERI offers open enrollment for this course several times a year and is also happy to talk to you about a bespoke version tailored to your teams’ needs.

Our format allows distanced, self-paced learning, with weekly check-ins for two hours per week and optional individual check-ins as needed. After the training is over, students will have access to monthly webinars for six months, allowing them to continue learning after the course. Participants will receive access to the online Emergent Risk Training Room where they will work through each week’s lessons at their own pace, with weekly check-ins for two hours per week and optional individual check-ins as needed.
